Addison came to the hospital to meet her brother Sunday. She doesn't really know what to think of him yet, for all she knows he's a ham sandwich that cries. The first thing she did was take the pacifier out of his mouth - apparently the 27 she already has is not enough. We've been teaching her to be gentle with him (she's still nervous and seems a little scared) now, when she does touch him, she softly pets him while saying "pretty". Here is some video of their first few moments together; you can tell she's not too comfortable:
Everyone came home from the hospital Monday afternoon and including dogs, we've restored the gender balance in the house - 4 males and 4 females - and that's the way it will stay.
Michele is still in quite a bit of pain but she feels a little better today and finally got some sleep last night. I've been taking care of Peanut and things around the house. Hopefully, it'll get a little better every day and should be easier in 17 or 18 years.
There are new pictures in the online album HERE.
